Advanced Publication Design: Spring 2015

This class was my capstone class at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the final "thing" I needed to complete before receiving my diploma. A class of nine designers took turns designing, and at times competing to design, the weekly edition of Vox Magazine, an award winning city and regional magazine. Along with designing for Vox we also created a prototype for a new magazine in conjunction with the publishing capstone to present to Meredith Publishing Corporation. As if that wasn't enough work to keep us staring at a computer for hours on end, we also produce work of our own, such as book cover designs. All work examples seen here were assigned coursework, however, when noted, some are published.
