Gateway Grizzlies: Media Relations & Marketing Assistant

The Gateway Grizzlies is a professional minor league baseball team in Sauget, Illinois. As the media relations and marketing assistant I handled duties ranging from creating promotional materials, filmed player interviews and executed corporate marketing materials both throughout the park and on social media.
During this time I took to revitalizing the team's Instagram account and coming up with a strategy to better engage the followers.
In addition to these responsibilities, I also recruited groups and individuals to attend certain events such as churches for Christian Family Day and local pageants for Princess Night 2 and Miss America Appearance. Specifically for Christian Family Day, I worked with a team of two others to contact and book a local church band and coordinate selling tickets and planning the logistics of an event from start to finish.
