In my first design class at the University of Missouri Journalism school we were taught the basic fundamentals of design and assigned projects to practice them. 

Throughout the semester we designed various types of pages in order to get a handle on the work requirement for each. My work includes a spread reflecting my personality,  a department page, a photo story, a conceptual illustration feature and a final project consisting of a cover, table of contents, typography feature and department page.
